Cam Pro Plus is a software and sensor package for measuring and analyzing lifter and valve motion profiles, such as:
• Measuring duration
• Opening
• Closing
• Centerline
• Lobe separation

All of the custom ground camshafts that come through Cartek Performance Engineering are spun on our Cam Pro to help ensure that every cam is precisely what we'd ordered. This helps eliminate the chance of an incorrectly ground camshaft ending up in one of our/your projects. This is another prime example of how we try to ensure the highest level of quality for our clients.

While most say it is good enough to trust the cam manufacturer, we take it to the next level and make sure that no stone is left unturned. Checking cams before we install them to verify that they match the cam card has helped us avoid unneccesary install and/or tuning delays. We have found a few that haven't been up to standard and while it is not a regular occurence, wouldn't it be horrible if it just happened to be your particular cam that was incorrectly labeled?
